CAF CL: Egyptian referees appointed for Etoile – Kotoko clash

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Egyptian referees to officiate the Champions League playoffs between Etoile Sportive du Sahel and Ghana giants Asante Kotoko in Tunisia.

The experienced center man Ibrahim Nour El Din will be in the helm of affairs and will be assisted on the lines by Tahssen Abo El Jadat Bedyer and Ahmed Hossameldin Taha as assistant referee 1 and 2 with Mohammed Adel Elsaid Hussein as fourth official.

Sudanese Mamoun Bushara Nasir has been assigned by CAF as the match commissioner for the big showdown.

The much anticipated clash will be played in Sousse on Friday 27th September 2019.

According to sources, the match will kick-off at 19h00 GMT tough officials of the Tunisian club are yet to communicate to CAF and their opponent.

Asante Kotoko are expected to depart Ghana for the game on Tuesday 23rd of September to acclimatize with the weather conditions before the big game.

The Porcupine Warriors goes into the second leg with a 2-0 advantage over their opponents.
