The Black Meteors of Ghana have been placed in Group A alongside hosts Morocco for the 2023 U23 AFCON in the draw on Saturday.
Ghana will play their first game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations for U-23 in Morocco on June 25th when they take on Congo Brazzaville at 4pm.
The Ghanaian Olympic team will then come up against the hosts, Morocco in their second group game of the tournament two days later, on June 27 at 9pm.
Black Meteors will end their group stage campaign with a clash against Guinea on June 30 with kickoff late in the night at 9pm.
Ghana reached the semi-final of the last edition in Egypt in 2019 but lost on penalties to South Africa in the third place playoffs game.
The Black Meteors subsequently missed out on the Olympic games which was help in Japan, Tokyo in 2020.
Ghana has not been at the Olympic Games since their last time in 2004 in Greece, Athens, where the likes of Stephen Appiah and Asamoah Gyan featured for Ghana.
Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his Boys would be hoping to get a ticket to the 2024 Olympic games which will be held in France, Paris.
