CAF Confederation Cup game between Asante Kotoko and San Pedro has been postponed.
The officials called the game off due to heavy downpour in Kumasi where Asante Kotoko hosted their Ivorian counterparts.
The rain started few minutes to kick off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and continued throughout the first half of the game which ended goalless.
The South African officials consulted captains and team officials of both sides to inform them of their decision to call off the match due the unplayable pitch caused by the rains.
All attempts to get the game back on track failed.
The second 45 minutes will be played tomorrow, Monday 28th October at same venue as stated in CAF’s rules and regulations.
