Caleb Ekuban’s strike salvages a point for Trabzonspor in Turkish Super Lig

Caleb Ekuban of Black Stars fame was on the score log to make sure Trabzonspor return home with a crucial point against Fenerbahce.

The bulky attacker sprang high to meet Donis Avdijaj cross with a bullet and well – timed header after 26 minutes from a very close range to the centre of the goal.

Ekuban has fast become a fans favorite at the club and netted his first Super Lig goal of the season after signing a permanent deal with the club joining from English Championship side Leeds United.

The former Chievo Verona marks-man has shown his goal scoring prowess for Trabzonspor scoring a hat-trick in the Europa League Playoffs against AEK Athens to ensure his team’s passage to the group stage.
