English League 2 side Carlisle United have sent Ghanaian striker Kwame Thomas away, despite the player showing good performance during his trials.
Steven Pressley, the manager of the Cumbrians mentioned that the English-born Ghanaian attacker is good but does not meet all their requirements.
“Kwame showed a real willingness to work and he has some good attributes, which we saw with the two goals he scored against Tramere last week,” Pressley told the Newandstar.
He added: “He doesn’t quite have everything we’re looking for from a player in that position at this moment in time and, with it being such a key role, I decided not to extend his stay any further.”
Thomas, 23, has previously featured for clubs including Derby County, Notts County, Blackpool, Coventry City and Kiddermimster Harriers.
