The Court of Arbitration for Sports has deferred its ruling on the pending case involving the Ghana Football Association and Mr. Kwaku Osei Palmer to September 1.

It’s been 10 months of legal battle between the two parties as Palmer previously served as GFA Executive Council member during Kwasi Nyantakyi’s reign as Ghana FA president.

Palmer, following what he believes was his ‘unfair’ disqualification from contesting the 2019 GFA presidential elections dragged the association to CAS to seek redress.

After months of waiting, the Arbitration Body set August 4 as the judgement day only for it to be deferred.

A win for Palmer could lead to fresh FA presidential election.
