Celtic skipper Scott Brown is pleased with the development of summer signing Jeremie Frimpong.
The 18-year-old central defender joined the Scottish giants from Manchester United this summer and after initially starting with the youth team, he was promoted to the senior side.
Frimpong impressed his captain during training on Monday.
“He is a talented young lad, he is living up to the bill set for him. He brings lots of competition to the team,” Brown told the media.
Frimpong is expected to start this evening when Celtic take on St. Partick Thistle in the Scottish Cup game.
