‘Uninspiring’ Accra Hearts of Oak SC snatched a point against Berekum Chelsea in their match week 22 encounter at the Golden City Park.
Hearts were very slow in their build-up play and everything showed the away team were playing for a draw against the Bibires.
Chelsea were the better of the two and created some decent openings in the game but goalie Richmond Ayi was up to the task.
There were not enough chances created by both teams who failed to grab all three points at stake.
The home team made the first incursion as a close range header from Henry Ainsu was saved by Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Richmond Ayi.
The opening half of the match ended 0-0 and after the recess, Chelsea tried to tease Hearts of Oak out of their 18 yard box but the Phobians stood firm.
The referee added five minutes but goals were not produced and Hearts earned 1 point as they head back to Accra.
Hearts of Oak are 6th on the GPL table with 33 points and Berekum Chelsea lie 7th with 30 points.
Hearts will host Medeama SC on Saturday afternoon at home in their week 23 Ghana Premier League with with Chelsea traveling to face Real Tamale United FC.
