Berekum Chelsea clashed with Accra Hearts of Oak at the Golden City Park in Berekum on Saturday afternoon in the Ghana Premier League.

The week 10 encounter between the Bibires and the Phobians lacked fire power in a goalless stalemate as both teams failed to wow the fans

The two teams played out a boring game on a ‘Potato Pitch’ with few chances created by both teams during the game.

Both teams had a lot of set pieces but they were unable to utilize the opportunities that came their way.

Hearts of Oak could have stolen all three points on the day at the very end of the game when the hosts goalkeeper parried Ansah Botchwey’s shot but Ivorian player Eric Dizan failed to score on the rebound.

The match lacked entertainment and was not a solid performance from both teams as they settled for a point each at the end of the match.

Hearts of Oak will play their ‘Noisy Neighbors’ Accra Great Olympics next at the Accra Sports Stadium next week and Chelsea will travel to King Faisal in Techiman on next week Sunday.

Hearts of Oak lie 2nd after picking a point on the road with 16 points from ten matches.

Chelsea on the other hand occupies 12th position on the league table after they secured a point from the game against Hearts on Saturday afternoon.
