CK Akonnor appointed new technical director for Kotoko

Asante Kotoko have officially named former manager CK Akonnor as the technical director for both youth and first team respectively.

According to a statement signed by the CEO of the Porcupine Warriors, George Amoako, Akonnor will earn GHC 8,500 as monthly salary for his new role in the club.

The former Black Stars captain left his position as the head coach for the Porcupines after an unfruitful meeting between him and the management of the club.

Kotoko in a press release stated that Akonnor will oversee the technical directions of the team and will also serve as an intermediary between the management and the new technical handlers of the club.
