The second edition of the Ghana Diaspora Homecoming Summit is under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and supervised by the Diaspora Affairs, Office of the President.
The summit is in fulfillment of the President’s continuous commitment to establish a foundation for a productive and mutually beneficial relationship between the Government of Ghana and Ghanaians overseas.
This year’s theme is “Recognizing the potential of Ghanaian Diaspora.”
The Consul General, on behalf of the Ghana Mission also took the opportunity to reveal how strategic and imperative this Summit offers. “At this summit you will get the chance to network with others from other countries, who share your vision and goals”.
He also advised that, their focus, if they decide to resettle in Ghana, must be on establishing their own businesses no matter how small, rather than depending on government for a job.
“At the summit, all sectors of the economy will be represented to interact with participants”, Professor Amoako revealed.
