Italy Serie A side U.S Cremonese has completed the signing of Ghanaian young forward Felix Afena Ohene-Gyan from AS Roma.
The 19-year-old Ghanaian versatile forward has switched to the newly promoted team after excelling in the previous season for AS Roma in Italy.
He netted two goals in the 2021-22 Italian top-flight in 17 matches and won the maiden edition of the UEFA Europa Conference League competition with the club.
With the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar later this year, the youngster has moved from Jose Mourinho’s team in search of regular football to earn a call-up to play for Ghana at the mundial.
He completed his mandatory medical test yesterday and signed for the Serie A new Boys who unveiled him on Monday afternoon
He cost the club €6m transfer fee with additional €2m add-ons as he moves on a permanent deal to the new.
He played in the 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria in March and scored his first goal for Ghana in the opening game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar at Cape Coast.
