Ghana has confirmed 565 coronavirus related deaths after four additional fatalities, health officials have said.
This was contained in the Ghana Health Service’s updated report showing the country’s COVID-19 status as of February 14, 2021.
The report said out of 849, 891 samples tested, 78,271 have returned positive since the outbreak of the disease in March 2020.
The current number of active cases stands at 7,931 after 523 new cases were reported.
There are at least 69,775 patients who have recovered and or discharged. So far, 92 persons are in severe condition while 29 remain critical, according to GHS. Cases detected at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) are 1,186 with 985 recoveries.
