COVID-19: Ghana’s death toll hits 440, active cases now 6,086

Seven more fatalities have been recorded taking Ghana’s COVID-19 death toll to 440, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) reports.

At least 696 new cases have been confirmed from the laboratories increasing the caseload to 69,255.

Recoveries now stand at 62,729, according to the GHS.

The number of detected cases at the airport is 152, 924 since it was reopened in September and out of the number 1,137 have recovered.

Severe cases in the country are now 98 with 35 critical ones.

No patient is on ventilator at the moment.
