Danlad joins Chelsea on loan after renewing Kotoko contract

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad has extended his contract with the club by four more years, Dailymailgh.com can reveal.

Sources within the club hinted Dailymailgh.com that the Under-20 safest-pair-of-hands has agreed a deal in principle to switch camp to former Ghana Premier League winners Berekum Chelsea till the end of the season.

The Fabulous club has three experienced goalkeepers in the persons of Black Stars third choice Felix Annan, Black Meteors first choice Kwame Baah and Osei Kwame which makes Danlad’s loan move to Chelsea a step in the right direction for the young goalkeeper’s development.

Four Ghanaian clubs were in pursuit of the talented last line of defence.
