The New Patriotic Party (NPP) USA Youth Wing has reaffirmed its commitment to grassroots empowerment with a donation of jerseys and soccer balls to youth groups in the Suame Constituency in the Ashanti Region.

The gesture was part of their efforts to engage and support the local youth while strengthening ties within the party’s strongholds.

Leading the presentation on Sunday (1 December), Danny Opoku Antwi, the NPP-USA Youth Organizer, stressed the importance of youth participation in the democratic process.

He took the opportunity to educate the youth on voting processes, urging them to exercise their civic duty responsibly during the upcoming elections.

Antwi further encouraged the youth to vote massively for Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s Presidential Candidate, and all parliamentary candidates representing the party. He stressed that a unified vote for the NPP would ensure effective governance and avoid unnecessary parliamentary gridlocks.

“The future of our nation lies in your hands. By voting for Dr Bawumia and the NPP parliamentary candidates, you are securing progress, stability, and unity for Ghana. We need a strong majority in parliament to push forward with policies that will benefit every Ghanaian,” Antwi stated.

The donation event was met with enthusiasm, with the youth expressing gratitude for the support and guidance. The soccer kits were seen as a symbol of the party’s commitment to youth development and unity within the community.

The team also visited some churches within the constituency and educated congregants about the voting process.

The Methodist church at Tarkwa, the
Christ Apostolic Church and the Apostle’s Continuation Church in Suame, were all not left out.

Joining Mr Opoku Antwi were Tarkwa Area Coordinator of the NPP Osei Bonsu, Mad. Grace Amoponsah, Suame Constituency Treasurer, Hon. Permit Tarkwa Electoral Area Assembly Member, Justice Ayew polling station chairman and other party people in Suame Constituency.
