Ghana top-flight side Ashgold have captured former Wa All Stars midfield germ David Abagna on a three-year.
The midfield enforcer signed a three-year deal with the Obuasi club after leaving his former employers this summer, sources within the club said.
The Miners are preparing for their first ever campaign in the Confederation Africa Football (CAF) Confederation Cup since its inception in 2004, where the two most glamorous clubs in Ghana, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak battled for honours of which the Phobians won the trophy on penalties at the back yard of their arch rivals in Kumasi.
Abagna won the 2016 Ghana Premier League with his former side and had the taste of Africa during his time with the Wa lads.
