Deputy Interior Minister denies collapse rumors following election loss

Naana Eyiah Quansah, the Deputy Minister of Interior and Member of Parliament (MP) for Gomoa Central, has refuted social media rumors that she collapsed and was hospitalized after losing her seat in the recent elections.

 

At a press conference, Naana Eyiah Quansah urged the public, particularly the people of Gomoa Central, to ignore the false reports circulating online.

 

The outgoing MP, who lost her seat to an independent candidate, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of Gomoa Central for the opportunity to serve in Parliament for two terms.

 

She also urged Ghanaians to continue supporting the New Patriotic Party (NPP), stressing that it remains the only political party with policies aimed at benefiting the ordinary Ghanaian.
