Don’t forget your promise for my overseas treatment – Drogba appeals to Bawumia

Ghanaian actor John Peasah, widely recognized as Drogba from the popular TV series *YOLO*, has earnestly reminded Vice-President Dr. Bawumia of his commitment to support his treatment abroad.

In March 2024, Drogba was diagnosed with demyelination, a condition that damages the protective covering of the nerves and impairs vision, movement, and sensation.

Following the diagnosis, Vice-President Dr. Bawumia visited Drogba to offer his sympathies and, according to reports, promised to assist with his treatment overseas.

Now, six months later, Drogba has reached out again, urging Dr. Bawumia to fulfill his pledge. In an Instagram post on August 2, Drogba described the “excruciating pains” he is enduring, which he finds difficult to describe.

He urged Dr. Bawumia not to “forget his promise for my treatment outside” and thanked him for his visit in March, expressing his gratitude for the support offered during that time.
