Popular Ghanaian Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, has issued a firm warning to all Ghanaians, especially political parties not to use his brand for any political campaigns.

According to Shatta Wale, he and his loyal fans will fully support anybody who emerges as president in the December polls.

“Moving forward ..no one should use my picture or my brand on any political campaign or platform. Myself and my loyal fans will support and cooperate with any person who Ghanaians elect as their president,” the controversial artiste tweeted.

Shatta Wale has close ties with the two major political parties – New Patriotic Party and National Democratic Congress (NDC) – in Ghana. His songs have featured on the campaign platforms of both sides.
