Dutch Eredivisie giant AFC Ajax Amsterdam have made Denmark Superliga side FC Nordsjaelland teen sensation from Ghana Ernest Nuamah, their top transfer target after contacting the club, Dailymailgh.com understands.
The Red and Whites outfit are desperate to sign Ghana’s teen sensation from the Denmark Superliga team in the current transfer window before August 31.
According to our sources, the Dutch club have contacted the Red and Yellows Wild Tigers for a potential transfer of the young lad.
Nuamah was named the best player in the 2022-23 Denmark Superliga, won the young player of the year and was adjudged best player in the Denmark Superliga by both the players and the coaches.
He scored 19 goals in all competitions last season for the club and became the Ghanaian international with most goals in a single season for the club in Denmark.
This 2023-24 campaign, the 19-year-old Ghanaian versatile forward has scored four goals and one assist in three games earning him two Team-Of-The-Week appearances and one man of the match award.
He was named the Player-Of-The-Month for July after two games in the Superliga in Denmark and has already attracted interest from Paris Saint Germain in France.
With his compatriot, Mohammed Kudus likely to leave Ajax Amsterdam this summer, the club has prepared €20m for the signature of the 19-year-old player as his replacement.
