Eastern Region: One person feared dead in Aseseaso accident

A tragic accident in Aseseaso has left one person feared dead, involving staff from Koforidua Senior High Technical School in the Eastern region.

 

The staff members were returning to Koforidua after attending a colleague’s spouse’s funeral in Akwamufie, Asuogyaman District.

 

The accident occurred when the driver of the school bus lost control while descending from Adukrom to Aseseaso, causing the vehicle to overturn into a nearby valley.

 

Fire personnel and other security officers intervened to rescue the trapped victims.

 

Currently, one person is feared dead, and two others are in critical condition receiving urgent medical care at Yilo Krobo Government Hospital.

 

This tragic event has cast a shadow over the school community and the broader region, as colleagues and families anxiously await updates on the condition of those involved.
