Ghanaian Songstress Wendy Shay had urged female artistes in Ghana’s music industry to be grateful to the late Dancehall singer Ebony Reigns.
The Rufftown Records signee in a tweet said that even though Ebony had a short life, her impactful career has strengthened female musicians and brought attention to them.
“All the female artistes that came after Ebony including myself, should be thankful to her because her career shed light upon the female fraternity and made people pay attention to us!! Another statue for a Great talent Ghana Wake up!”
Some fans have, however, taken Wendy Shay on over her assertion.
