Both teams served football loving fans in Cape Coast and its environs with a mouth watering entertaining game as the first half ended 1-0 in the visitors favour.
The home team could not find the back of the net to put them level despite improving their efforts in the second half.
The Kumasi-based club were at most occasions the better side and showed some glimpses of brilliance in the second 45 minutes.
Burkinabe import Sogne Yacouba gave the travelling team a two-goal lead when he was nicely set up by left back Patrick Yeboah in the 69th minute.
Asante Kotoko won the game by 2-0 at the backyard of Dwarfs.
Fans who trooped to the Stadium were not left disappointed as both teams produced an eye-catching performances on the day.
