The police have launched a probe into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult at Bonyon, a farming community near Ejura in the Ashanti Region.
The body was found on Wednesday dawn, lying unresponsive and highly decomposed when the police, environmental health workers, and officials from the National Disaster Management Organization, went to the scene.
The police have since authorized the burial of the yet-to-be-identified man at the scene as investigations continue. The security agency is not ruling out foul play.
Recent killings at the enclave have been linked to farmer-herder conflict. The situation forced the traditional council led by Barima Osei Hwedie II, to launch sweeping measures to maintain peace.
The Municipal Security Council has also been seeking military intervention over this major security threat.
