Barima Osei Hwedie ll, Chief of Ejura in the Ashanti Region has endorsed President Nana Akufo-Addo and the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2020 general elections.
Addressing his subjects at a special dinner on Saturday, 5th December, the Chief said numerous projects introduced by the NPP has decreased the infrastructure deficit and benefited residents of the area.
Barima Osei Hwedie II listed a lot of social policies and developments his chiefdom has been benefited under NPP which he says is unprecedented in the history of Ejura. Amongst them are The Free SHS programme, creation of jobs for the youth, One District One Factory, One district One warehouse, Planting for Foods for Jobs, One constituency One ambulance, the construction of Ejura roads, the relative peace his subjects are enjoying etc.
He also said that he travels a lot across Ghana and sees how each area is benefiting from the national cake. He urged his people to vote for President Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party to continue with the massive development.
He admonished his people not to allow themselves to be used as harbingers of chaos and violence and go out in their numbers to vote peacefully.
