Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged Ghanaians to firmly reject Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections, criticizing them for failing to meet the promises made in their 2020 manifesto.
Asiedu Nketiah labeled Bawumia a “serial liar,” accusing him of having nothing new to offer Ghanaians following his government’s poor performance and mishandling of national resources. Speaking to supporters in Mamfe, Akuapem North Constituency, on the first day of his regional tour, Asiedu Nketiah claimed that Bawumia would not deliver on his promises and urged voters to reject him and the NPP in the 2024 general elections.
He questioned the fulfillment of specific promises, stating, “Bawumia promised to replace motorbikes with vehicles for motor riders. Ask him where those vehicles are. He failed to deliver on the 2020 manifesto promises. Reject Bawumia and the NPP outright in the 2024 elections. He will not deliver on his promises.”
