Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has presented himself as the leader capable of driving Ghana toward a prosperous future, contrasting his vision with what he calls the outdated leadership style of former President John Dramani Mahama.
Speaking at the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) final rally ahead of the December 7 elections, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the need for forward-looking leadership and the continuation of the NPP’s transformative policies.
“This election is a clear choice between the future and the past. My opponent represents the past, and I, Dr. Bawumia, represent the future of this country,” he declared.
He further explained the critical decision voters face: “The choice that we have on Saturday, as we go to vote, is whether we want to go forward into the future or backward into the past. A mindset of possibilities underpins us in the NPP and the work that we have done.”
Dr. Bawumia expressed confidence in the party’s ability to lead the country toward significant progress, adding, “We believe that it is possible to transform this country into an advanced nation.”
