The New Patriotic Party (NPP) youth wing in the United States has made a significant contribution to the election campaign at Adansi Asokwa in the Ashanti Region, donating essential campaign materials to support the party’s efforts in the constituency.
The donation was received by the Constituency Chairman Kwame Owusu on behalf of the MP of the area Hon. KT Hammond on Sunday (24 November).
They included 500 branded T-shirts, 300 aprons, 4 sets of jerseys, and 20 boxes of knapsack sprayers, all aimed at boosting the visibility and outreach of the campaign as Election Day draws near.
Chairman Kwame Owusu, upon receiving the items, expressed profound gratitude to Chairman Janis Asare Bediako, the NPP-USA Youth Organizer Danny Opoku Antwi and the entire Youth Wing for their generosity and continued support.
He acknowledged that the donation was not only timely but would also significantly enhance the constituency’s capacity to mobilize voters and increase visibility in the final stages of the campaign.
“The materials you’ve provided will go a long way in helping us reach more people and ensure that the good work of Hon. KT Hammond is recognized and supported across the constituency. This donation is a testament to the unwavering commitment of the NPP-USA community to the success of the party’s agenda,” Chairman Kwame Owusu said during the presentation.
For his part Chairman Janis Asare Bediako who made the donation on behalf of NPP-USA youth wing emphasized the importance of ramping up campaign efforts as Election Day approaches. He urged the members to be vigilant and strategic in their campaign activities, reminding them that every effort counts in ensuring a resounding victory for the party.
“Victory is coming, but it will require more than just words. We need action, unity, and focus. It is crucial that we continue to work hard, stay organized, and remain committed to the cause,” he stressed.
“Let’s continue to support the executive and strengthen our unity to ensure we reach every voter. The upcoming election is critical, and we have everything it takes to succeed,” he added.
Alongside the message of unity and mobilization, the NPP-USA Youth Organizer Danny Opku Antwi also took the opportunity to remind the members of the importance of maintaining a positive and energetic approach.
“Our strength lies in our numbers and our collective effort. Every single person plays a role in making this victory a reality. Let’s continue to spread the message of hope, progress, and development that Hon. KT Hammond represents.”
He also provided an important educational session during the event. He took the time to educate the members on the voting process, offering crucial tips on how to ensure their votes are valid and not spoiled. He highlighted common mistakes made by voters and encouraged everyone to familiarize themselves with the correct voting procedures to avoid making errors on Election Day.
“Every vote matters, and it’s important that we all take the time to understand how to vote correctly. By doing so, we ensure that our voices are heard and that every vote counts towards securing the future we all want for Ghana,” Danny stated.
The team pledged to extend such gestures to other constituencies in the Ashanti Region.
