Former Ashanti Regional Minister and former Minister for Chieftaincy and Culture S.K Boafo (Hon), has stressed the importance of unity and collective effort within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as it prepares for the crucial 7 December polls.

During his visit to the Michigan Chapter of the NPP in the USA, Boafo emphasized that unity and collaboration are essential for the party’s success, particularly in the upcoming elections. He commended the members and their leadership for their dedication and hard work in establishing a strong presence in the United States.

“It is vital that we come together as one, embracing our differences and working collectively towards a common goal. The election of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as President is paramount, and we must all do our part to ensure this victory,” Boafo stated.

The former minister highlighted the crucial role that the diaspora plays in the NPP’s success, noting that the contributions and support from Ghanaians abroad are integral to the party’s objectives.

He encouraged the chapter members to stay engaged and active in their efforts to support the party’s campaign, particularly in promoting the party’s values and achievements.

Following his address, Hon. Boafo engaged in a question-and-answer session with chapter members, where he candidly addressed various concerns about Ghana’s development and the future of the party. His insights and perspectives resonated strongly with the attendees, reinforcing the importance of their involvement in the party’s success.

Chapter Chairman Mr. Seth Gyamfi, who had previously served as Hon. Boafo’s bodyguard, expressed his deep gratitude for the minister’s visit.

He acknowledged the significant role that Hon. Boafo has played in his life, including providing him with the opportunity to travel to the United States.

“Hon. Boafo’s visit is a milestone for our chapter. His support has been instrumental in shaping who I am today,” Gyamfi said.
