Fast-growing Ghanaian international right-back, Emmanuel Hackman scored his first goal to propel SC Portimonense to a 3-2 victory on Monday night.
The Ghanaian netted a miraculous goal after his slightly missed kick inside the goal area found the back of the net to register his first league goal in the Portuguese top-flight against Club Sport Maritimo.
Brazilian midfielder Rodrigo Tabata and Portuguese forward Aylton Boa Morte scored on the 24th and 39th minutes respectively to give the Black and Whites a two goal lead before heading to the dressing room for a 15 minutes break.
After the recess, Rodrigo Pinha brought the visitors back into the game when he reduced the deficit to one just eight minutes in the second half to give the visitors hope of getting on level terms.
Four minutes later, Hackman reacted first to Ricardo Vaz Te’s cushion header in the center of the box to slot his effort past the goalkeeper and into the top right corner to restore the host’s two goals lead and bringing the score to 3-1.
Pinho scored his second and a late consolation goal for the away team deep into additional but it was a little too late to snatch a point from the pulsating encounter.
The game ended 3-2 to the home team.
Hackman now has a goal to add to his two assists in 15 appearances this season.
