English-born Ghanaian attacking midfielder Denzeil Boadu has started training with Championship survivors Reading FC in their pre-season camping in Spain.

Boadu’s contract with Borussia Dortmund expired this summer and he is currently having sessions with the Royals as he hopes for a possible deal.

Dailymailgh.com can reveal that the 22-year-old has been impressive so far and he is likely to be signed by the club as he fits into manager Jose Manuel Gomes plans.

Born to Ghanaian parents in London, Boadu started his career with Tottenham before moving to Arsenal in 2012. He later signed for Manchester City where he played for four seasons before being signed by Borussia Dortmund in 2017.

Last season, he made 17 appearances for the second team of Dortmund in the Regionaliiga.
