The partnership of Myron Boadu and Dutch forward of Surinamese origin Calvin Stengs continues to prove vital for AZ Alkmaar as it helped them to secure a valuable away point in the Europa League against Partizan Belgrade in Serbia on Thursday.
Boadu, who over the weekend praised Stengs as his ideal forward partner, assisted the latter for the first goal of the game in the 12th minute before Stengs also turned the provider for the Dutch born Ghanaian’s goal.
Five of Boadu’s seven goals in all competitions this season has been assisted by Stengs whilst the Ghanaian has also assisted four of the former’s goals.
Both players are being monitored by Dutch national team boss Ronald Koeman.
