Former Hearts of Oak midfield maestro Winful Cobbinah was on target for KF Tirana on Wednesday afternoon.

The Ghana international broke the deadlock three minutes before the half hour mark to put the visitors in front.

It looked like the Albanian League leaders would go into the break with a one goal advantage courtesy Cobbinah’s 27th minutes strike but Idriz Batha doubled their lead from the spot on the stroke of half time to make it 2-0.

On the 66th minutes, Ardit Peposhi gave the home team a life line with an exquisite finish to reduce the deficit for the host.

Gentian Muca made the points safe for the visitors when he restored their two goal lead 18 minutes to full time making it 3-1 and a mountain to climb for the home team.

Tirana held onto the lead to record a 3-1 win over Bylis 1972 FC to maintain the nine points gap between them and second placed team Kukesi.

Cobbinah has now scored six goals this season for Tirana in the Albania Kategoria Superiore league.
