Exclusive: Alaves close in on Ghana’s Majeed Waris

Spanish La Liga side are closing in on Ghanaian striker Majeed Waris with just a day to close the 2019/2020 summer transfer window.

Dailymailgh.com can exclusively reveal that officials of El Glorioso were in Portugal on Thursday and had a meeting with Porto for a possible loan deal for the attacker.

Waris is currently training with the Porto Team B and they are ready to let him move to Alaves on a season loan with an option to buy.

The Spanish club are seeking for a replacement for Patrick Twumasi who had a torrid time in their fold last season and has been loaned to Turkish outfit Gazisehir Gaziantep.

Waris’ loan move to Alaves could be completed by Friday.
