Italian-born Ghanaian teenager Philip Yeboah Ankrah has signed a professional contract with newly promoted Serie A side Hellas Verona.
Ankrah, 16, netted an incredible 24 goals in 24 games for the Under 17 team of Verona last season and has already been tipped as the future of the Gialloblu attack.
The young striker is expected to be a squad member of Verona this comig season and could feature in the Italian Cup games as well as some of the Serie A encounters.
Ankrah is a complete attacker who can operate anywhere across the forward line and is noted for his balk sense and eye for goal.
He is being handled by renowned Ghanaian FIFA player agent Oliver Arthur.
