Danish-born Ghanaian striker Justin Kwabena Shaibu is back to English National League side Boreham Wood on loan for the coming 2019/2020 season.

Shaibu, 21, featured for the Wood on loan from Brentford last season and has been brought back in the same capacity ahead of the new campaign.

The nimble footed attacker netted nine goals and provided three assists last season as Boreham Wood finished 20th on the log.

“I was very pleased when I got the call to say that I had an opportunity to come back here and play minutes and help the team, I am very happy to be here,” Shaibu stated after signing the new loan deal.

“The boss has said that I have got an opportunity to come here and get some game time and that if I perform, then I will play a lot of minutes.

“I think that the style of play here suits me, so I am just very pleased to be here,” he added.

Shaibu was born to Ghanaian parents in Copenhagen and has represented Denmark up to the Under 20 level though he is still eligible to feature for the Black Stars.
