Former Black Stars goalkeeper William Amamoo will have his testimonial game played on Sunday, July 14, 2019 in Sweden, Dailymailgh.com can reveal.
Amamoo’s career spans up to two decades and has featured for as many as 15 clubs.
The experienced goalkeeper shot into the limelight with Romanian outfit FC Farul Constanta in 2003 where he was named among the best goalkeepers in the league.
Subsequent moves saw him play in Sweden where he remains a cult figure having featured for the likes of Vaslunds OF, Degerfors, Syrianska and a host of others.
The 34-year-old shot stopper made his Black Stars debut on May 23, 2009 and earned three caps with the last one being against Japan.
Among the former Black Stars players who will play in his testimonial game is Michael Essien.
