Everton have officially signed English-born Ghanaian kid Yohann Seedorf Ohemeng on a developmental contract.
The six-year-old boy who is regarded as the best Under 6 footballer in England was snapped up by the Toffees despite serious interest from Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City.
The parents of Yohann, Mr and Mrs Ohemeng were at Everton football club on Wednesday as they accepted the offer on behalf of their son who also likes the club.
Yohann will be at the club’s academy on fully paid scholarship whilst receiving monthly stipend. When he turns 12, he will sign a semi-professional contract.
“It is great for the boy and his development, he likes the club and the offer they brought was also good so after the meeting with them, we accepted it,” Mr. Ohemeng told Dailymailgh.com
Yohann who is a left footed attacker can play anywhere across the frontline and skillful with his pace, great footwork, ability to hit the ball with power and also his eye for goal.
