Ghanaian youth international Emmanuel Adjei Sowah had a fresh surgery on Tuesday to correct a pubalgia injury – a strain or tear of the soft tissue in the groin.

The Anderlecht right back has been battling a series of injuries since 2017 and this is the third time in two years he has had on operation.

Dailymailgh.com can reveal that the operation which was done in a private hospital in Brussels was successful and the 21-year-old will not be available for at least four to five months.

Sowah had a bright start to his Anderlecht career featuring in a couple of games when he joined from Dreams FC but injuries has hampered his progress and has been inactive for the past two seasons.
