Italian Serie B side U.S. Salernitana 1919 have handed Ghanaian youth international Moses Odjer a new contract and is expected to sign in the coming days.
Odjer has just one year left on his existing contract with the Garnets and Dailymailgh.com can exclusively reveal that the tireless central midfielder was given a new two-year deal to append his signature to on Thursday as they seek to tie him down.
The former Ghana Under-20 midfielder joined Salernitana in 2016 and has been one of manager Gian Piero Ventura’s trusted players making a total 102 appearances and scoring two goals.
Odjer, 22, has been a transfer target of Virtus Entella and Prodenone Calcio all in the Italian second-tier in the ongoing transfer window.
