Ghanaian midfielder Aziz Tetteh has revealed he left Dinamo Moscow for Turkish outfit Gaziantep FK because of the new laws on foreign players in Russia.

Aziz, 29, was the heartbeat of Dinamo during the 2018/2019 season as he managed 25 league appearances, scoring one goal.

The tireless holding midfielder mentioned that the new laws in Russia concerning foreign players was not favourable and had to leave when the offer came.

“I had one year left on my contract and they changed the rules in Russia for the foreign players and from next season is going to be eight players and in Dynamo we were about 10 and they still want to bring more so when the offer came from Gazisehir Gaziantep I spoke with them and was ok for everyone,” Tetteh told Dailymailgh.com

“Also, I am someone who always wants to take challenges and prove myself. I have done it in Russia and this is the time for me to exploit a new avenue,” he added.

Tetteh has been one of the most consistent Ghanaian players in Europe over the past six years, featuring for clubs including Fokkikos, Platanias and Lech Poznan in Poland.
