German Bundesliga side Schalke 04 have completed the signing of budding Ghanaian defender Randy Gyamenah Manu on a free transfer.

Dwamenah, 19, last season played for Ezgebirge but did not renew his contract when it ended and has chosen to join the German side on a one year deal with an option to extend.

Standing at 1.93 metres,  the giant centre-forward has already been likened to Ivorian legend Didier Drogba for his great physique and style of play.

The young striker will start with the Schalke Under 23 team in the Regionaliiga team before progressing to the main team.
