Officials of French Ligue 1 side Stade Reims will be in Czech Republic this weekend as they seek to make an improved offer for Ghanaian striker Benjamin Tetteh.
Dailymailgh.com can exclusively reveal that the Red and Whites made an official bid of 2.7 million Euros to Sparta in the middle of June for Tetteh out of which they were ready to make a down payment of only 500,000 Euros with the rest being in installment but they were turned down as the Czech giants were not keen on the amount.
Sparta Praque are said to be looking for something within the range of 7.5 Million Euros before they will let go the 6 feet four inches striker and the French club are preparing themselves for negotiations.
Tetteh, 22, netted 11 goals and provided three assists in 28 games last season as Sparta Praque finished third in the league.
His current contract with the Maroons expires on June 30, 2022.
