A fierce fire on Friday engulfed a plastic manufacturing company in Ghana’s capital, Accra destroying several wares.
The incident occured just before midday while staff of the Spintex road branch of the Kingdom Plastic Industries were at post.
Bystander footages saw thick smoke billowing in the skies while firefighters battle the inferno.
The pictures also capture huge crowd who had defied Covid-19 protocols to catch a glimpse on the ground, a situation officers of the Ghana Police Service said was worrying.
It still remains unclear what caused the fire at the factory which houses a wide range of combustibles.
It comes after a similar incident happened at a mattress factory in Kumasi late last month.
