Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC captain Kwame Peprah has been shortlisted for the Premier Soccer League Young Player of the Season award in South Africa.
The Orlando Pirates FC topsman has had a marvelous campaign in the South Africa top-flight league since his move to the club in the summer of 2021 from the Ghanaian club.
He has scored five goals in 21 league matches this season for his club Orlando Pirates FC in his first season in South Africa after joining from King Faisal following an impressive season in Ghana.
The striker has also scored two goals and provided one assist in 10 games in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup competition for his team.
Peprah has been a pivot and a consistent performer leading the lines for his team and helping them reach the final of the 2022 CAF Confederation which will be played on Friday.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian attacker has seven goals this season in all competitions for the Bucs and could end the season as the Best Young Player in the South Africa Premier League.
