Former Hearts coach Samuel Boadu announced new Chelsea head coach

Berekum Chelsea has secured the services of coach Samuel Boadu to lead the team forward until the end of the Ghana Premier League 2023/24 season.

The announcement was made on Tuesday, March 5th, via the club’s social media platforms.

Boadu, known for his tactical ability brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

Having previously served as the head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, his appointment signals Berekum Chelsea’s ambition to rejuvenate their season and climb the league standings.

The club’s official statement reads: “We officially announce the appointment of Mr Samuel Boadu, as the new gaffer of the club. Coach Boadu brings on board his rich experience and expertise. Thanks.”

As head coach, Boadu will immediately assume responsibility for team training and tactical planning, with a focus on maximizing the potential of the squad.

Berekum Chelsea is currently 6th on the Ghana Premier League table with 30 points after 19 games. The Blues beat Karela United 3-0 at home on match week 19.
