The centre back has also agreed his personal terms ahead of early next week’s medical test to complete his move to the Principalities club at the start of the 2023-24 campaign in France.

Salisu played for Real Valladolid in the Spanish La Liga and was a top performer which led to his move to the Saints who were in the English Premier League then.

He played two seasons for the St Mary’s outfit and was one of the most important players for the club before injuries hampered his season during the 2022-23 campaign.
