Fuel prices reduced from 17p per litre increase to nine pesewas per litre – Gov’t

The government has reduced fuel prices from 17 pesewas per litre increase to nine pesewas per litre effective Wednesday 5 May 2021, a communique from the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) said.

The announcement follows an emergency meeting held by the Ministry of Energy, NPA and other stakeholders after members of the public took to social media to raise reservation over the increment.
