Two Fulani herdsmen, Amadu Aliu and Gariba Umaru, have been arrested by the police for allegedly robbing a 36-year-old man of money at Komba near Sawaba Nsuoano in the Pru East District of the Bono East region on Tuesday.
Narrating the incident to DailyMailGH.com, the police said the victim, Agor Anyigba, reported to them that Amadu Aliu, 21, Gariba Umaru, 23 and another Fulani herdsman, who is now at large, armed with a locally-made single barrel gun, stormed his residence at Komba near Sawaba Nsuoano in the Pru East District on Tuesday and demanded money from him.
When Agor Anyigba refused to yield to their demand, the suspects fired into the air and robbed him of Ghc 2,000 and bolted away.
The youth of Komba did not take kindly to that. They pursued them, apprehended Aliu and Umaru and handed them over to the police.
They are currently assisting the police to apprehend the third suspect.
